Login troubleshooting

Most login issues are being reported by Internet Explorer users. Some versions of Internet Explorer handle cookies in non-standard ways. The result is that you may be told "Sorry, unrecognized username or password" even when the login credentials you provided were correct!

The following experiments may show whether the problem lies with your login credentials or with your web browser:

  • If you have another browser installed (or are willing to install another), try logging in to this site using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
  • Try logging in using another computer.
If you experience the same issues on different computers and/or browsers then the issue probably lies with your login credentials. See here to resolve individual browser problems.

I forget my username

Use your email address in the first field (in place of your username). Enter your password in the second field, as usual. Enter this information in the login form here.

I forget my password

Passwords are case-sensitive, meaning that "Example" is not the same as "example". Please do not use "example" as your password!

Enter your email address in the password reset form. A password reset link will be emailed to you. It will expire in one day; make sure you use it! Make sure you set a new password right away, otherwise you'll encounter the same problem the next time you have to login.

I never logged out. Why do I have to login again?

I know my username and password, but they won't work!
